If my hard drive crashed i would not loose any of my guild wars stuff since its all on there servers correct?

I would be inclined to think that your characters would be saved on the servers, because you can go to some one else's house and play your character there. Although, you would have to re-download every update since the begining of time, since those are in-fact saved on your hard drive.

Not quite true on the downloading every update. If update B replaces update A, then he won't get A, just B
